Durgan was born in a time of war, when the ancient halls of his village shook under the siege of creatures that had awakened from the depths. From a young age, he learned that a dwarf king is not measured by the crown he wears, but by what he is willing to defend.

His name, Hammerfist, came from a feat that became the stuff of legend.

During the Battle of Basalt Gate, the enemy army managed to break through the outer defenses and reach the heart of the fortress. As the soldiers retreated, Durgan remained at the entrance, hammer in hand.

He was the first to strike.

And he didn’t stop until the last enemy had fallen.

From that day on, he was known as Hammerfist: the king who always leads his warriors into battle and never allows any of his people to fight alone.
