“Wolfram was once general of the winged Hussars cavalry, the most fearsome in the kingdom. Famous for his discipline and for never abandoning his men. During an internal war, he received the order to crush a rebel territory, but when he discovered that this implied an unjust massacre, he refused to obey.

The kingdom declared him a traitor, stripped him of his name and executed many of his soldiers.

Exiled and persecuted, Wolfram became a mercenary. In time, former comrades and warriors without a homeland joined him. Together they formed a powerful mercenary company known as the Black Crown.

Wolfram did not take the crown out of ambition, but out of responsibility. His men proclaimed him king, and since then he has been known as Bearer of the Black Crown, a leader who rules by simple rules: loyalty, contracts honored and no comrade abandoned.

Today, Wolfram is a king without a kingdom, feared by the powerful and respected by those who fight at his side.”
